You have probably already noticed the slight color changes in the leaves and the crisp feel in the air as you head off to work. These are all signs that fall is right around the corner. Fall in Sauk City means beautiful colors, cool days, and lots of fun. Here are some great fall events to add to your calendar.
- Fall Festival at Durward’s Glen. On Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can peruse the booths of local art vendors, enjoy local food, and even get a tractor tour of the historic grounds. This event is free to the public; however, donations are welcome.
- Crafts & Drafts. If painting a picture and drinking wine isn’t your thing, perhaps drinking beer and making a hearty project is more your taste. On Sept. 22, the River Arts Center will host its monthly night of fun. Here, you can create your own rustic wood sign to hang in your home.
- Waggin’ Wine Tour. For those who love a good glass of wine, plan on taking the Waggin’ Wine Tasting Tour to benefit the OccuPaws Guide Dogs. The tour takes place Sept. 24 and starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Sauk City Park & Ride. All transportation will be provided. There will also be appetizers, doors prizes, and more.
