Ford is moving into the future with a revamped Ford Transit Connect cargo van that promises to be more efficient, more capable and smarter than ever. It will be coming to Courtesy Ford of Sauk City late this fall.
The 2019 Ford Transit Connect Cargo Van will feature new and exclusive driver-assist technologies along with two new powertrain combinations. One of these will be a segment-first diesel — a 1.5-liter EcoBlue® diesel that is expected to deliver an EPA-estimated rating of at least 30 mpg highway.*
In addition to the diesel engine, there will be a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a new eight-speed automatic transmission. Available exclusively for fleets is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with six-speed automatic transmission.
In addition to its versatile engine lineup, the 2019 Transit Connect comes standard with a suite of active safety features including Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Side Wind Stabilization, a rearview camera and Automatic Emergency Braking. Also available are the following features: Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keeping System and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The Transit Connect can also help you stay connected while on the job site with standard embedded 4G LTE that can provide Wi-Fi for up to 10 devices.
*Actual mileage will vary; final EPA 1.5-liter EcoBlue fuel economy estimates are expected in early 2019.
